Half Day

Today I am having sushi for lunch. Later I might go to Toys R' Us. These are the things that bring me joy in life.

WOXY is Sexy

Woo! It only took 2 days of obsessive searching and one potentially dangerous mind meld with my wife and I've GOT IT!. WOXY is the station I'd been looking for. I can finally rest now. Also, WOXY is pretty damn cool. I don't like everyting they play, but its better background music then anything on the Milwaukee airwaves and I've already discovered two bands I'd never heard of. More on that later, for now I will bask in the relaxing yet small interval between obsessions.

My Brain Sucks

I don't know why my brain decided this was important but for some reason I am obsessed with finding the old internet radio I listened to 2 years ago. I won't be able to concentrate till I figure it out. Thanks a lot brain.

Où est la piscine?

Oh God, oh God, oh God. . . We are going to NOAH'S ARK tomorrow! Its been 2 years since we went. I am so excited I could wet my pants. Thankfully at the park I can do that and not worry about anyone noticing. Sleeping tonight is not going to happen; its like the night before Christmas as I toss and turn thinking about all the presents. Only this time I dream about being wet all day and getting sunscorched. We might actually get to ride on Black Anaconda this year. AHHHHHH! I CAN'T WAIT!!

Happy Birthday Mira!

Tomorrow is my baby's birthday. I grapple with the idea that she is already 1 year old. I seem to exist in a time warp all of a sudden where from week to week and month to month the passage of time dilates from fast to fastest (it keeps skipping faster) so that in the end I have traveled a year without being aware of half of it. Granted all these times are great so I don't have much to complain about. Hopefully I won't be a lazy ass and actually post pictures on Flickr which I haven't done since the beginning of summer. Anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIRA!!!!

One small foot in fron of the other

Our baby can now WALK. She is WALKING. This means she is also FALLING. ALOT. Its pretty damn cute and fairly nerve wracking as our previous efforts to baby proof are now obliterated. She seems to have learned this while we camped (which by the way turned out great), possibly from a squirrel or chipmunk. Mira can now be accurately classified as a pedestrian. This also means that soon she will be RUNNING and then GETTING BOYFRIENDS. These are the things that bipedals do.
